The Cure for Hangovers?

If you've had a little too much fun in the Myrtle Beach area, there's actually a place you can go that says they can help you get rid of a hangover and other ailments.

If you’re searching for a hangover cure, we may have found a solution.  After a night of one too many cocktails you’re left dehydrated.  Some say IV therapy is the way to go.  Not only does it replenish the fluids, it gives you the vitamins you are lacking.  Believe it or not, IV Vitamin Therapy dates back to the 1960’s.  John Hopkins physician, Dr. John Myers formulated an injection cocktail including key vitamins to treat numerous ailments.  Today, it’s referred to as the Myers Cocktail.  Some of the vitamins include magnesium chloride, thiamine, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, and vitamin C.  It’s said that many celebrities utilize IV treatments.  Some of the benefits?  More energy, re-hydration, and glowing skin are just a couple of reasons people opt for an IV.  Each treatment takes anywhere between 10 minutes to an hour depending on how many fluids are being injected.  We visited the Recovery Room in Myrtle Beach to see what the buzz was all about.  While they offer a number of IV treatments, as well as a “shot bar” including Vitamin B shots, Owner Dena Pozeg, PA shared that their IV treatments are based off of the Myers Cocktail and offer a more natural approach to feeling and even looking better.  We had to try it and see what the buzz was all about.  Check out our results!
