A new farm-to-table restaurant, Shine Cafe is open for business. It’s located in the historic Chestnut house in downtown Conway. The home was originally built in 1927 and has since been lovingly restored. We spoke with owner Leslie Wilson about what people can expect.
“We offer a cozy atmosphere in a renovated historical home. No processed foods are offered. I even have a garden where greens are harvested daily,” said Wilson.
The new restaurant is currently only open for Breakfast and Lunch, and brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. Leslie says she eventually plans to be open for dinner and feature live music. She also says she looks forward to getting up everyday and serving fresh, delicious food. “It’s a labor of love,” Leslie says.
Some of their menu items include Shrimp bisque with shrimp bought daily from the local seafood market, salads, burgers, sandwiches, and more. You can also sip fresh lemonade or lime-aid. Yes, please! For a complete list of menu items, you can visit their website here.
