Kids can actually sleep in a shark tunnel at Ripley’s Aquarium in Myrtle Beach

Instead of counting sheep, the kids will be counting shark at Ripley's shark tunnel sleepover. How fin-tastic is that?!

Ripley’s Aquarium in Myrtle Beach has so many amazing experiences including the chance to meet real life mermaids, take a ride on the glass bottom boat, and even swim with stingrays.  During the summer months, they offer some extra special programs for kids, too.  One experience that we couldn’t get over was their Kids Night Out shark tunnel sleepovers!  It’s seriously a once in a lifetime experience for a child.

Not only do kids get the night out, parents get the night off as well.  Whether you’re a local or vacationing, you can drop your little off at 8pm with their sleeping bag and pick them up after breakfast around 8am.  Kids get to partake in a pizza party, a scavenger hunt, and even get to explore the entire aquarium after hours while no other guests are there.  Camp counselors share shark stories before bed, let the kids look for shark teeth, and share fun facts about the aquatic animals.  Not only is this experience super cool in general, but kids get to learn more about life under the sea.

The camp is offered every Wednesday during the summer and reservations fill up fast so be sure to make your reservations at the number listed below!  For more information, click here.
