A Southern Times Square at The Market Common

The Market Common will host one of the biggest street parties of the year! A Southern Times Square is our very own version of the Big Apple’s New Year’s Eve celebration with a live telecast on a jumbo screen, a mirror ball drop at midnight and fireworks. There will be live music throughout the night. Fill up your cups in the beer garden and explore the human statues, mimes, glass blowers, face painters, glitter tattoos and dancing in the streets. They’ll even have inflatables for the kids. Restaurants throughout The Market Common will be open for dinner. Reservations are suggested. Retailers around the complex will offer extended hours. Parking is available in the parking lots, garages, on street and at Crabtree Gym. Admission is free. Large bags and backpacks are not permitted at the event.

New Year’s Eve Stroll Under the Lights

Brookgreen Gardens will open the sculpture garden for a special New Year’s Eve event. Take a stroll around the gardens beautifully lit up by candles and holiday lights while listening to the strolling musicians. Light refreshments will be available. Space is limited for the event and tickets are available for $20 for non-members and $15 for members.

Celebrate at Noon at Lulu’s

Lucy Buffett’s Lulu’s, located along the scenic waterway, is celebrating Noon Year’s Eve! On December 31, bring the kids to a fun-filled day complete with face painting, balloon animals, live music, crafts and a sandcastle-building contest! Best of all, when the clock strikes noon, there will be a huge drop of colorful beach balls. Barefoot Landing is ringing in the New Year with bang.  Fireworks lights up the sky New Year’s Eve starting at 7pm.

New Year’s Eve All Night Skate

Fun Warehouse is hosting an All Night Skate this New Year’s Eve! All night passes are available for $30 and include unlimited skating from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., basic skate rentals, one game of laser tag, a go-cart race, a slice of pizza and a drink. You’ll also get donuts and a drink the next morning before you head home.

New Year’s Eve Celebrations at Myrtle Beach Bowl

Myrtle Beach Bowl is hosting two fun New Year’s Eve events with unlimited bowling and great specials. The fun kicks off at 11 a.m. with a Noon Year’s Eve Celebration! They’re offering Glow-N-Bowl, shoe rentals, party favors and sparkling cider for just $10/person. Book your lane today!

Unlimited Glow-N-Bowl will be available from 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Enjoy a large one-topping pizza, $5 game card and pitcher of soda plus shoe rentals for $60/lane for up to 5 bowlers. A non-alcoholic toast will be held at midnight with fun party favors.

Hard Rock Cafe New Year’s Eve Celebration

Welcome 2018 with a bang at Hard Rock Cafe at Broadway at the Beach. Guests can choose from several options for their NYE experience. Entertainment is by Diversity and festivities include Balloon Drop, Confetti Canyons, Party Favors, Live Times Square Simulcast, and an Hor D’oervre Buffet at 11 p.m.

Comedy Cabana New Year’s Eve Extravaganza

Make your New Year’s Eve plans with Comedy Cabana. They’ll host two great shows at 7:30 and 10 p.m. with party favors, toasts and plenty of laughs.

This year’s comedians include Chris Barnes, Danny Butler, and Cooter Douglas.

Available entreees are Masami Ranch Wagyu Filet of Rib Eye, Chilean Sea Bass Oscar, Cervena Grade New Zealand Rack of Elk, and Surf & Turf, 44 oz Porterhouse for Two. There will also be salad, an intermezzo of lemon sorbet, and a seasonal selection of desserts. The price is $125 plus tax and gratuity. Vegetarian options are available with advance notice.
