It’s a moon sighting in Florence you don’t want to miss! The Museum of the Moon is in Florence until May 6 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m at the Florence Center.
The Museum of Moon is a touring artwork created by UK artist Luke Jerram. Measuring seven meters in diameter, the moon features 120 dpi detailed NASA imagery of the lunar surface. At an approximate scale of 1:500,000, each centimeter of the internally lit spherical sculpture represents 3.25 miles of the moon’s surface.
The display is open to the public and tour groups!
