Lowcountry Jewelers is known for their custom made jewelry and “Pieces of Pawleys”

If you can dream it up, Lowcountry Jewelers can make it a reality. Their staff has nearly 100 years of experience combined.

When it comes to jewelry, something personal is always special.  At Lowcountry Jewelers in Pawleys Island, they can make anything your heart desires.  From turning a letter with Grandma’s writing into something you can wear, or even a custom made engagement ring.  They can do it all.  They even offer “Pieces of Pawleys.”  We caught up with owner, Ken Watts on why they’re known as the “Jewel of the Lowcountry.”

For starters, you’ll feel like one of the family the minute you walk in the door.  The staff really gets to know you.  If you have something special in mind, they’ll sit down with you and sketch it out.  You can even see the piece during the process so you can make changes throughout if you’d like.  Since they have the ability and skill to do everything in house, you have complete control over your special piece.

If you’re looking to pop the question, or you’re a future bride, THIS is the place to come.  Not only will you have a nice selection to choose from, you can come up with your own design and see it come to life.  Ken says a lot of times people want to include a special diamond or incorporate a family heirloom into their ring.  Here, they can make it happen.

We also loved learning about their “Pieces of Pawleys” collection.  You’ll find every charm from the Gray Man to Alice Flagg, and more.  Ken says he really wanted to offer something local.  With so many visitors, it’s nice to take a piece of Pawleys home with you when you leave.

In addition to the wide selection of jewelry options, they offer any type of jewelry repair.  You really have to meet their excellent staff and see for yourself why they’ve been serving our area since the 1980’s.
