Nothing gets you in the Fall spirit like Fall Festivals and events in the Myrtle Beach area. Although it's still toasty here at the coast, you can still celebrate with these fun activities. We've compiled a list of those you don't want to miss this season!
Brew at the Zoo
When: RESCHEDULED DUE TO HURRICANE FLORENCE, NEW DATE:
Saturday, November 3, 2018, 5:30pm-8:30pm
What: Guests can sample more than 30 craft beers from around the region and country. Food trucks will be available as well as games to play. Silent actions will be held to benefit new programs.

Flashlight Friday's at Thompson Farm
When: Every Friday in October, movies start at 7:30pm
The Farm is open Saturday 10am-4pm
Sunday 10am-5pm through October as well
What: Enjoy family night out at the farm with kid’s drive-in movie nights and the 6 acre corn maze. Bring your child’s favorite ride on toy for them to sit in while they watch the movie. Parents, bring your lawn chairs. Enjoy coffee, hot cider, and s’mores in front of the fire pit in front of the General Store.

Myrtle Beach Seafood Festival
When: October 5, 2018 from 6pm-10pm, October 6, 2018, from 11am-7pm, October 7, 2018, 11am-7pm
What: Enjoy seafood from a multitude of local seafood restaurants and eateries along the Grand Strand.

6th Annual Florence Oktoberfest
When: October 13, 2018, 6pm-10pm
What: Music, games, German food, beer, and wine. This year all profits from Oktoberfest will be donated to the Florence Police Department Benevolence Fund to help assist the officers and families that were victims of the tragic shooting that occurred in Florence.

Little River Shrimp Fest
When: October 13, 2018-October 14, 2018, Saturday 9am-6pm, Sunday, 9am-5pm
What: Children’s area, face painting, live music, around 150 different vendors, festival food favorites, and fresh local seafood.

10th Annual Myrtle Beach Oktoberfest
When: October 12, 2018-October 13, 2018, Friday 4pm-9pm, Saturday, 11am-7pm
What: Oktoberfest beer, food, and a variety of vendors. Kids activities including face painting and inflatables.

Georgetown Wooden Boat Show
When: October 20, 2018- October 21, 2018
What: More than 140 classic wooden boats displayed on land and water, children’s model boat building, knot tying, maritime arts and crafts, food, and live music.

Brookgreen Gardens Harvest Home Festival
When: October 6, 2018- October 7, 2018, 9:30am-4pm
What: One of their biggest family events. There is a huge pumpkin patch where kids (and adults!) can pick out their pumpkin to paint. An over the top scarecrow building contest, many families start planning their scarecrow for the next year the minute the current year is over! Hayrides, great food, live entertainment (kid friendly!), opportunities to meet animals, and the entire Gardens are open to explore.

Barefoot Landing Pumpkin Patch
When: Weekends in October, Fridays and Saturdays from 4-8pm, Sundays noon-4pm
What: Pumpkins are available for sale in a variety of sizes. Prices: small- $3, medium- $8, large- $10, extra large- $12 and specialty- $15. Cash only. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to help hurricane and flood relief efforts in the community. The pumpkin patch also features a Jack-O-Lantern inflatable for children to enjoy. Hay Rides and Live Music.
