The Conway Ghost Walk is a spooktacular event to look forward to every Halloween season in downtown Conway. It’s happening this year on October 17th, 18th, & 19th. Presented by Conway Downtown Alive, come prepared to be greeted by professional storytellers who will share the stories of lowcountry haints that haunt the area. This fun Halloween event features stories that are spooky, even sometimes funny, and are sure to become apart of your family’s Halloween tradition.
CDA director, Hillary Howard says “Each year the Ghost Walk features new stories and a few guest favorites. The tour travels through the scenic residential Historic District and many attendees have become fans of veteran storytellers that return each season.”
Tours begin each evening at 6:30 PM and leave the box office every 15 minutes until 8:30 PM. The storytelling tour is 75 minutes and the tour route is approximately 1.0 mile. The tour travels through the Historic District and participants should expect variations in the walking surface to include sidewalks, grass, slight inclines or hills and roadways. Participants are welcome to bring a flashlight to utilize when travelling from location to location.
Tickets are $17 for adults and $9 for children ages 5-12. To purchase advance tickets to the Conway Ghost Walk, visit conwayalive.com or contact the box office at 843 248 6260. Reservations are suggested but tour-goers may also visit the box office on tour nights to purchase walk-up tickets for the next available tour. The box office opens at 6:00 each evening and is located at the Conway Visitor Center at 428 Main Street in Downtown Conway. Group reservations are available.
